Things are picking up at 80legs, and we need extra help in keeping everything moving. We're looking for additional folks to help with specific projects that will help us fulfill customer demand more quickly. Read on for more details.
Available Positions
Houston-based Intern
Ideally, we'd like to hire an intern that can work at our Houston, TX-based office. This person would be responsible for the following:
- Implementing 80apps for upcoming crawl packages (we have a dozen lined up right now!)
- Using the 80legs API to create and manage the job processes for these crawl packages
- Work on any additional back-end features or customer projects as time permits
Remote Intern / Contract Work
Although someone at our office would be great, it's not critical for us. A remotely-located person would work for us also, but the responsibilities would be a little different:
- Implementing 80apps for upcoming crawl packages
- Generating seed lists for these crawl packages
- Implementing 80apps for custom projects as time permits
Required Skills
Qualified candidates will be proficient in Java and understand how to use regular expressions. In general, you need to be a good programmer, be able to understand project specifications, communicate well and deliver on-time.
